Ultrasound therapy

Ultrasound therapy involves use of ultrasonic oscillations of certain frequency for medical purposes. Ultrasound produces mechanical, thermal and physicochemical effect on the human body, representing a sparing procedure. It doesn’t have any harmful effect, and is very effective in treatment and prevention of certain diseases. For example, the use of ultrasound therapy in the cerebral palsy cases is based on the spasmolytic effect from this procedure, the effect of ultrasound on connective tissue and peripheral section of the nervous system. Ultrasound also improves metabolic and immune processes in the human body.
