Magnetic therapy
Magnetic therapy has pain relieving, anti-inflammatory and anti-edema effect. This procedure improves blood circulation in brain, reduces spastic paresis and paralyses, and produces remedial effect on disorders in sensitivity and blood circulation in affected limbs. Treatment using magnets is prescribed to relieve intracranial pressure and muscle tonus in the cases of joint contractions. That’s why magnetic therapy is widely used to treat children with cerebral palsy. The effect from magnetic therapy will also be visible when treating nervous system diseases, because magnetic field produces effect on nervous tissue as well.
